We will have the opportunity to show the world the greatness of Karate and the strength of our many principles, such as tradition, respect and courage,” said WKF President Antonio Espinós.
“I am convinced that we will give an added value to the Beach Games. Sports fans from all over the world will have the chance to enjoy watching Karate in such unique scenery,” added the head of Karate’s international governing body.
The Karate competition is scheduled for October 10th and 11th. A total of 64 karatekas will participate in the event. The inaugural edition of the ANOC World Beach Games will take place on Mission Beach in the city of San Diego, California with 1360 athletes participating at the event.
