As you know the most important rule to respect in terms of sport equipment is the Rule 50 which defines the type of identifications that can be used during the development of the games.

Regarding the sport equipment allowed to be used in the Karate competition, the IOC has released for this edition of the Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Argentina under the link in www.wkf.nethttps://wkf.net/pdf/olympic/Guidelines_Authorized-Identifications.pdf. Also the WKF has released a document specifically adapted to Karate, in which the draws have been replaced by real images to facilitate its comprehension and that you can find here attached.

During the previous months WKF we have worked together with all those homologated brands who have shown interest in taking part in this first Olympic event. Here below you can find the WKF homologated brands that comply with this IOC standard and that have passed a strict approval process by the WKF.
